About us

The Lees Summit Lakers, administered by Elevate Lacrosse, are a dedicated boys' lacrosse club focused on growing the sport across Jackson County, Missouri. Formerly United Youth Lacrosse, the Lakers provide a competitive and welcoming environment for boys in 1st through 8th grade during the Spring season (March–May).

Our program is open to players from all cities within Jackson County, including:

Lees Summit, Blue Springs, Independence, Raytown, Grain Valley, Grandview, Oak Grove, Greenwood, Lone Jack, Buckner, Sugar Creek, Lake Lotawana, Lake Tapawingo, Unity Village, Levasy, and Sibley.

Whether your son is brand new to lacrosse or looking to elevate his game, the Lees Summit Lakers offer the coaching, structure, and community to help him grow on and off the field.

Dominic Diaz – Director

Dominic Diaz brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to his role as Director of Lees Summit Lakers Lacrosse, now entering his third season leading the program. A former Faceoff Specialist at Aurora University (NCAA Division III), Dominic’s collegiate career was built on discipline, precision, and a relentless work ethic — traits he now instills in his players.

A proud Lee’s Summit West alumnus, Dominic has returned to his roots as an assistant coach for the Titans, helping guide the next generation of local lacrosse talent. His influence also extends through his coaching role with Midwest Top Gun, one of the region’s premier travel programs, where he develops athletes to compete at the highest levels.

Dominic previously served as Director of United Lacrosse, where he helped grow and shape the program into what is now the Lees Summit Lakers. His leadership has expanded opportunities for boys across Jackson County to learn, develop, and compete in a positive, competitive environment. Known for his technical expertise, player-first approach, and commitment to building team culture, Dominic continues to drive the growth of lacrosse in the region while preparing his athletes for success on and off the field.
